Who we are
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in safe, connected relationships. Therapy offers a space to slow down, turn toward your emotional world, and begin to understand yourself with greater clarity and compassion. I view our work together as collaborative — you are the expert on your life, and my role is to support, guide, and gently challenge when needed. Together, we create a safe place to feel and move forward.
You can expect our work to be thoughtful, attuned, and paced in a way that feels right for you. In our sessions, we will explore not only what is happening in your life, but also the deeper emotions and patterns underneath. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we’ll seek to understand the roots of your experiences — how past relationships, attachment patterns, and life events may be shaping your present. As emotional awareness grows, new choices and possibilities begin to emerge.
My approach is grounded in Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and humanistic principles. This means I believe people are inherently wired for growth and healing when provided with the right conditions: safety, empathy, and authentic connection. Emotions are not problems to eliminate, but signals to understand. Through a trauma-sensitive and client-centered lens, we’ll work to build self-compassion, strengthen resilience, and foster more secure and meaningful relationships — both with yourself and with others.
Whether you’re an adolescent navigating identity and belonging, an adult feeling overwhelmed or stuck, or a couple longing to reconnect and break painful cycles, therapy can offer a steady and supportive space for change. If you’re ready to take the next step, I welcome you to reach out.
I would be honoured to support you in creating a safe place to feel — and to move forward.
